Solid Oak Blanket Chests
Our blanket chests are handmade all round from solid oak, even the bottom. All joints are screwed and plugged giving them extra ridgitity. All chests can be made to your specification. Some chests we have made previously have had a secure top, with a flap down front which allows them to double up into a versatile piece of furniture anywhere around your home.
You may choose to use your solid oak chest as a TV unit, Shoe Cupboard, toy box etc. We have made smaller chests for bathrooms / laundry etc.
Chests can be made in traditional style with a round edge, or whaney edge nosing and skirting. We hand finish each piece in a durable oil, leaving them with a soft sheen.
