Solid Oak Fire Surrounds and Mantels
We have supplied many of our unique character solid oak fire surrounds
of all shapes and sizes.
Our solid oak fire surrounds are extremely easy to
install with minimum effort. They will transform your living room creating a
big impact and making your fireplace an amazing feature.
The leadtime for a firesurround or mantel to be made is around 4 – 6
weeks.
Inner supporting struts within the solid oak fire surround can be adjusted to fit marble, slate, tiles etc. If you have a design of your own in mind, then Dave would be only too happy to discuss your requirements.
The wood used in each fireplace is kiln dried, therefore all the cracking and movement has taken place in the kiln, therefore the heat from your fireplace will not effect the surround, and will serve you for many years. Fire surrounds are a hollow construction using 1” kiln dried oak, which we box up into a 4” thick mantel, leaving you an impressive beam effect.
